SOT Chiropractic in Edgware, Mill Hill and Stanmore

Sacro Occipital Technique is probably the most gentle and most holistic of all the chiropractic techniques.

It focuses on strain patterns in the membranes of the brain and spinal cord which are attached between the skull and the pelvis, specifically the sacrum, and how these interfere with ones health and wellbeing.

Treatment does not involve the “clicking” type of adjustments many associate with chiropractic, but involves specific adjustments that help unwind the cranial structures, spine, its membranes and the fascia of the organ systems.

It is tolerated well in babies, children and expectant mums. Many professional sportsmen and women choose SOT trained chiropractors.

Originally developed in the 1930’s by Dr Major B De Jarnette.

SOT has continually evolved into a very specific indicator based system of chiropractic diagnosis and treatment. Many other techniques have developed as a result of the Majors work including Kinesiology, Craniosacral Technique, Soft Tissue Orthopaedics and many more that are seen in the alternative therapy arena.

All our chiropractors are trained in this technique leading to post graduate qualifications in Advanced SOT and Craniopathy (cranial chiropractic). Dr Carl is an lead lecturer for SOTO-Europe and teaches SOT regularly in the UK & Europe.
