COVID 19 UPDATE ( 14th July 2020)

You must wear a mask when attending SpineLab.



The aim of this page is to provide you information so you understand the measures we are taking to try and protect us all from the COVID 19 infection. However this cannot be guaranteed.


Please read this, INFORMED CONSENT:

… By attending the clinic you automatically give us your informed consent to be seen at SpineLab. In knowing that no matter what we do, to try and protect you, there is still a risk of COVID 19 cross infection and that you will not hold us accountable should this occur.



We have had a phased reopening following lockdown and patients wanting appointments will be triaged first over the phone to prioritise essential/urgent cases.

High risk individuals will be offered either video consultation before face to face appointments are made.

Our aim is to operate a culture of safety at SpineLab.


We are clean, we are safe and we respect all our safety. Please respect it too.

  • Our chiropractors will be wearing scrubs and PPE and the front desk team will be wearing masks
  • Treatment tables, surfaces, door handles and adjusting rooms will be cleaned between each patient
  • Our furniture has been changed and there is a screen on the reception desk
  • We will be paperless, therefore everything will be via email or text

Each of us has a responsibility to look after others in these times!

  • Only one person will be allowed into the clinic and adjusting rooms at a time to provide shielded visits.
  • No Family or friends can join you in the clinic.
  • You must wear a face covering or mask to protect others (We will turn you away if you don’t wear one).
  • The front door is locked and we only let you in at your appointment time. There is a doorbell to use to let us know you are outside.
  • If you are early please wait in your car and call us. We can call you back when we are ready for you.
  • Wash your Hands as soon as you arrive.
  • You will then be shown to the adjusting room, appointments and payments will be made after your treatment.
  • Any payments and appointments will be made after your appt, preferably NO CASH. Online payment is available.
  • After your visit please leave the clinic straight away and avoid socialising.

DO NOT come in if you or anyone you live with  have any of the COVID 19 Symptoms

  • a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
  •  loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal 


DO NOT attend if you have travelled abroad in the last 2 weeks

DO NOT attend if you or a member of your house currently has COVID 19 or possible symptoms in the last 2 weeks

DO NOT  attend if you or a member of your household is self isolating

Respect social distancing  

  • If you are early for your appointment, please wait in your car
  • Please keep your distance from others
  • One person at reception at a time
  • No socialising at reception
